Harry Potter Puzzles & Spells Available to Pre-Register on Android and iOS

The Harry Potter saga is finalized when it comes to books and movies. But it continues in the gaming world. The newest puzzle game Harry Potter and his friends are featured in is about to be released and ready for preregistration.

It will be a Match-3 game, a type of puzzle beloved by millions. The game is scheduled for release on iOS and Android, as well as Amazon devices and Facebook. It will be quite simple in terms of gameplay, but certainly the developers have something up their sleeve not to make another Candy Crush Saga clone. The potions and spells you unlock throughout the game may work as bonuses to help you through hardening levels. The pieces of the puzzle also refer to the original novels.

The first country that can enjoy Harry Potter Puzzles & Spells is the Philippines. The rest of the world will have to wait a bit before the game is tested for the worldwide launch. If you don’t want to miss it, you can pre-register on the official site of the game or on its page on Google Play if you’re on Android.

As the genre suggests, the game will be available to play free online. Harry Potter puzzle games go official for the first time, so players will jump into the competition (or collaboration if they form a club) immediately. As the characters are licensed, the game will feature Harry, as well as Ron, Hermione, and others, the way we got used to seeing them. And yes, they are customizable, so you can dress them and equip them with magical powers.

All the Harry Potter games are so far developed by genre masters. For example, RPG games for consoles were made by EA. Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, a location-based game, was made by Niantic, the creator of Ingress and (partly) Pokémon GO. As for Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells, it’s made by Zynga, a major maker of mobile and Facebook-based puzzles.
